【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolypropylenematerialssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Polymersconsistofpolypropylenehomopolymers,polypropylenecopolymers,andpolypropylene-elastomercompoundsproducedwithorwithouttheadditionofimpactmodifiers(ethylene-propylenerubber,polyisobutylenerubber,andbutylrubber,andsoforth),colorants,stabilizers,lubricants,fillers,orreinforcements.1.2Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofthosepolypropylenematerialsthatcanberecycled,reconstituted,andreground,providedthatthefollowingconditionsaremet:1.2.1TherequirementsasstatedinthisspecificationandotherISOguidelinespertainingtothesetypesofmaterialsaremet,and1.2.2Thematerialhasnotbeenmodifiedinanywaytoalteritsconformancetofoodcontactregulationsorsimilarrequirements.1.3Theproportionsofrecycled,reconstituted,andregrindmaterialused,aswellasthenatureandtheamountofanycontaminant,cannotbepracticallycoveredinthisspecification.Itistheresponsibilityofthesupplierandbuyerofrecycled,reconstituted,andregrindmaterialstoensurecompliance.1.4Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSectionandthoseinClassificationSystemD4000.1.5Thisclassificationsystemandspecificationareintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutpolypropylenematerialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisspecificationdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisspecificationtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThisspecificationissimilartobothISO1873-1andISO1873-2,buttodifferentdegrees.ThisspecificationresemblesISO1873-1intitleonly.Thecontentissignificantlydifferent.ThisspecificationandISO1873-2differinapproachordetail;dataobtainedusingeitheraretechnicallyequivalent.
