【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribestheproceduretoqualitativelydetectgeneticallymodifiedorganisms(GMOs)andderivedproductsbyanalysingthenucleicacidsextractedfromthesampleunderstudy.Themainfocusisonpolymerasechainreaction(PCR)basedamplificationmethods.Itgivesgeneralrequirementsforthespecificdetectionandidentificationoftargetnucleicacidsequences(DNA)andfortheconfirmationoftheidentityoftheamplifiedDNAsequence.Guidelines,minimumrequirementsandperformancecriterialaiddowninthisInternationalStandardareintendedtoensurethatcomparable,accurateandreproducibleresultsareobtainedindifferentlaboratories.ThisInternationalStandardhasbeenestablishedforfoodmatrices,butcouldalsobeappliedtoothermatrices(e.g.feedandplantsamplesfromtheenvironment).SpecificexamplesofmethodsareprovidedinAnnexesAtoD.
