【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesgeneralguidelinesforenumerationanddetectionofmesophilicaerobicbacteriapresentincosmetics,bycountingthecoloniesonagarmediumafteraerobicincubation,orbycheckingtheabsenceofbacterialgrowthafterenrichment.Becauseofthelargevarietyofcosmeticproductswithinthisfieldofapplication,thismethodmaynotbeappropriateforsomeproductsineverydetail(e.g.certainwaterimmiscibleproducts).Othermethods(e.g.automated)maybesubstitutedforthetestspresentedhereprovidedthattheirequivalencehasbeendemonstratedorthemethodhasbeenotherwisevalidated.Ifneeded,microorganismsenumeratedordetectedmaybeidentifiedusingsuitableidentificationtestsdescribedinthestandardsgivenintheBibliography.Inordertoensureproductqualityandsafetyforconsumers,itisadvisabletoperformanappropriatemicrobiologicalriskanalysis,soastodeterminethetypesofcosmeticproductstowhichthisInternationalStandardisapplicable.Productsconsideredtopresentalowmicrobiologicalriskincludethosewithlowwateractivity,hydro-alcoholicproducts,extremepHvalues,etc.
